IT STARTED IN 1966
Thermalec Products Ltd., first came to life at the end of 1966
operating from a double ended mobile home in the garden of
the founder Gerry Williams, who went on to become one of
the best known and loved characters of the Swimming Pool
industry. In 1978 Gerry Williams, now the sole owner brought
Thermalec to a new factory in the South West of England.
During the summer of 1999 Thermalec became part of the
Meddings Group of Companies, due to Gerry's retirement.
Many of the staff moved to the present manufacturing
facility in Ivybridge, Devon, giving continuity of the
standards and services that Thermalec are
renowned for.
To expand Thermalec's presence in the world market, it was decided in 2013 by the Meddings Board to expand its market field into distribution. From this position Thermalec International Ltd was formed. Based in the United Kingdom and Mumbai, India, where their warehousing and office facilities will allow Thermalec International to grow into a professional distributor throughout the Indian Sub-Continent. They have bought together a team of highly professional pool engineers, including sales, design and management which equals any company presently represented in this area.
This will allow architects, design engineers and consultants to draw on the extensive knowledge brought together within this one facility.
The team at Thermalec International Ltd believe they have the know how and the years of experience that a professional company in the Pool and Spa industry can bring to their discerning customer base.
This has been confirmed by a number of high profile clientele that have given their trust to Thermalec International within the first 2 years of their existence.
